Welcome to Letter in the Attic!
Letter in the Attic is a collection of over 760 letters, diary extracts and other personal papers connected with Brighton and Hove. The collection was created through an appeal to the public during 2007-8. The project is now over, but you can see the results by following the links below.
The online exhibition
You can now visit the Letter in the Attic online exhibition on the My Brighton and Hove website.
This will give you an introduction to the fascinating letters and diaries in the collection.
The online catalogue
The complete catalogue of the Letter in the Attic collection is now available online.
The education pack
The Letter in the Attic education pack is now available.
It was developed by teachers for teachers in the Brighton and Hove area.
Letter in the Attic journal
QueenSpark Books have published a journal based on the Letter in the Attic collection. This is an attractive notebook in which you can do your own writing, illustrated with quotes and pictures from the Letter in the Attic collection. It is available to buy through the QueenSpark website.
